I checked with Fedex today and the tree has arrived at Stockholm airport , Sweden ( took 3 days, very fast.) and I´ll get it Jan 13, which is fantastic, half way around the world!

We found out about La Regional online while trying to find some information about going to see a Charreada or Charro Competition while we were in Puerto Vallarta for a holiday in January.  We emailed Roman and realizing that this was an actual online store (not a tour guide), he was very helpful in giving us all the information we needed and even offered to take us to Tepic.  When we arrived in Puerto Vallarta we took a taxi the very next morning to go and meet Roman at his store (La Regional).  We chatted with Roman and we ended up renting a car on the Thursday and he came right to our hotel and drove us on the windiest highway ever to Tepic which is only about 170 kms but it took us about 3 hours to get there.  It was awesome, great scienery along the way!  Roman was with us all day at the 7mo Charro Campeonato Nacional 2009 at the Rancho El Quevedeno and interpreted for us (there wasn’t a lot of English speaking people there).  It was similar to going to a Ranch Rodeo Competition with teams 27 teams competing from all over Mexico.  We saw amazing horsemanship , roping skills and commrodity.  It was very serious as the first four placings won a car.  There were a lot of tack and apparal vendors, which with a translator that knows the quality and price of tack made us feel reassured of a lot of items that we were interested in.  You would also never go hungry or die of thirst as there was lots of food, beer, and tequila (and bottled water).  We arrived back at the Hotel that night at about 10:00 p.m.  Roman was very considerate always thinking about are needs, if we were hungry or thirsty or needed to use the washroom, and we never felt unsafe.  We were blessed to have found such a down to earth wonderful friend and store owner in Puerto Vallarta.  By the way, we ended up buying all our tack at La Regional from Roman and his family.  We have ordered some other things online from him and we are definitely going back in the future to watch the championship charro competition in Puerto Vallarta in February.

I am pleased with the two holsters you made for me last week, for the 1893 Brochardt pistol.  Thank you for delivering them to the Sheraton.  I assume that you will keep the patterns for the holsters.  I might want another sometime.  I am home in Missouri USA where weather is cold.  We always enjoy our visit in Pte Vallarta each year.
